Mango Munchkins is a contemporary photography studio catering to children and families, as well as to anyone who would like a great portrait (including your pets!) Mango Munchkin's portraits are custom-styled to reflect each subject's unique personality. We specialize in the art of capturing the fleeting expressions of newborn babies, and will be very happy to work with your family to arrange a photo session that is most comfortable for everyone. Family photography is an art that extends beyond the camera: it is also the art of communication. Our children photographers are professionals with expert skills at helping children to feel at ease, so that each child's true self shines through in the photos. Our photographers also have their work featured in many well-known fashion and lifestyle publications, and are experienced at creating sophisticated portraits of adults.Mango Munchkins in downtown Toronto. We can provide a variety of backdrops for shooting your photo. These include a "seamless" single color background, which keeps the portrait clean and uncluttered. We also keep a fresh selection of appealing clothing and props, so that our subjects can have fun and be most fully themselves. We also enjoy shooting our kids photography sessions in various locations across Toronto and The GTA. At Mango Muchkins, we will capture your best expressions, delivering high quality prints and products while offering a fabulous family photography experience. The shoot is super fun with a selection of music, and an iPod dock is also available if you'd like to bring your own. Maternity Portrait Photography Pregnancy is such a profound time in a family’s life, and we truly believe that it makes for stunning portraiture, capturing you at your most radiant! Maternity sessions are typically held in the comfort of your our home or at a location of your choice. A decorated baby room is always a great place to start of the one hour shoot. It is ideal to book your maternity photo session around the 32nd week of your pregnancy, when your belly is beautifully large, but you are still comfortable to move and hold poses. Maternity photography session typically lasts 1 hour. We encourage your significant other to join in on the shoot. Newborn Portrait Photography Photographing a newborn baby is an amazing experience, and it is so important to document these all too brief precious moments. Newborns are best photographed within the first two weeks, as they sleep more soundly and curl up easily. A typical newborn session takes about 1 hour long, depending on the baby`s mood, allowing plenty of time for feeding. Children and Family Portrait Sessions These early years pass so quickly, and we think capturing them at this stage is really important. Baby and kids portraits give your family memories that are preserved for a lifetime, and they make lovely gifts for family, or décor pieces. We strive to make each milestone your baby reaches unforgettable by highlighting the new found ability in a unique way. Childhood is precious, but it is also fleeting. We can help those fragile memories to last a lifetime!
